The Money Shots Golf Wednesday Night Scramble is the premier weekly golf league on Lake Conroe — combining competitive scramble format play with a lively community of serious golfers.

Founded by Money Shots Golf™, the Wednesday Night Scramble brings together golfers of all skill levels every week at the stunning Golf Club at Margaritaville Lake Resort. Our scramble format pairs an "A" player with a "B" player on each team — creating a level playing field where strategy, teamwork, and clutch shots decide the winners.

We run a full 34-week season from April through October, tracking points, payouts, and standings every single week. Whether you're chasing the weekly pot or the season-long leaderboard, there's always something on the line.

This isn't just golf — it's a community. Show up, compete, and be part of something great on the shores of Lake Conroe.

The Format

How It Works

Simple format, serious competition. Here's what to expect every Wednesday night.

Check In by 5:00 PM
Arrive at the Golf Club at Margaritaville Lake Resort by 5:00 PM. Check in on the app — your name is already on the roster.

Teams are Generated
Our app automatically pairs "A" and "B" players into balanced teams, rotating pairings each week so everyone plays with someone new.

Tee Off at 5:30 PM
Teams are assigned a starting hole. Play 9 holes of scramble format — both players hit, you pick the best shot, and go from there.

Enter Scores Live
Post your score hole by hole on the app as you play. Everyone can see the live leaderboard updating in real time from the course.

Winners Paid Out
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams win money from the weekly pot. Ties are broken by the USGA handicap difficulty order.

Season Standings
Every week you play earns points toward the season leaderboard. 1st=10pts · 2nd=6pts · 3rd=4pts · Played=1pt.

All players must have a verified USGA GHIN handicap number. Your GHIN will be confirmed before your registration is approved. Don't have one? Visit ghin.com to get started.

You should be comfortable playing 9 holes of golf. All skill levels are welcome — our A/B pairing system ensures balanced, competitive teams every week.

Registration Fee
A one-time $100 league entry fee is required. Optional $40 add-on for season-long points competition. $10 each Wednesday you play.

Fill out the registration form and we'll reach out within 24–48 hours to confirm your GHIN, answer any questions, and get you set up on the roster.

Once approved, you'll be added to the official player roster on the app at mvwns.com. From there, just show up on Wednesday nights, tap your name to check in, and play.

Season runs April through October — you can join mid-season, though the $100 registration and optional $40 points fee still apply.
